After this lesson, you can

  • Explain domain, hosting, SSL, mailbox, form, and CMS in plain language.
  • Separate the one-time website build from retained recurring services.
  • Explain the 50,000 monthly visit fair-use allowance and monthly traffic report.

One quality baseline, different scopes

Starter, Business, and Premium are different scopes. They are not poor, average, and good versions of the same page.

  • Starter suits a focused presence with a small number of pages and one clear action.
  • Business suits a broader service explanation, a business domain, and more operational detail.
  • Premium suits richer content, more pages, bilingual presentation, and stronger self-management needs.

All packages should be responsive, readable, secure, and professionally delivered. The difference comes from the amount of content, design work, included capability, and ongoing service.

Website terms in plain language

Domain

The address people type, such as yourbusiness.com.

A domain is registered for a fixed period and renewed to keep the right to use it. It should be registered for the business, not owned by a Partner.

Hosting

The ongoing service that keeps website files available when someone visits the address.

Customers do not need to know which internal platform or infrastructure AlphaBlue uses. They need to know whether the website remains available, what the fair-use allowance is, and which continuing services they chose.

SSL

The security certificate that enables HTTPS and protects information while it travels between the visitor and the website.

Mailbox

An inbox using the business domain, such as [email protected].

A free personal Gmail address and a business-domain mailbox are different products. Gmail may provide a free personal inbox, but it does not provide ownership of [email protected]. A business mailbox pays for the custom address, mailbox service, storage, administration, and continued use.

Form

A structured way for a visitor to send an enquiry, booking request, or quote request. A form needs submission handling, spam protection, and delivery to the business. It is not automatically a complete booking or payment system.

CMS

A content management system lets an approved user update defined parts of the website. It does not mean unlimited redesign or unrestricted development.

One-time build and recurring services

The package pays for the agreed website build. The customer does not buy that build again each year.

Recurring services renew only when the customer keeps them. Examples can include:

  • a custom domain;
  • one or more business mailboxes;
  • a contact or feedback form;
  • self-managed content;
  • a booking runtime or another continuing service.

Use the current Pricing page or official quote for live amounts. Do not copy old prices into a message or screenshot.

What fair use means

Every published customer website includes up to 50,000 counted visits per calendar month under the standard fair-use policy.

That is an average of about 1,667 visits every day. Most ordinary local-business websites receive only tens or hundreds of daily visits, so the allowance is intended to leave substantial room for normal traffic rather than act as a routine limit.

A counted visit is a real visitor session. Multiple pages viewed in the same active session still count as one visit. Known bots, monitoring, previews, internal tests, and identified attacks are excluded.

At 80% of the allowance, AlphaBlue may send a usage reminder. The first month above the allowance does not automatically stop the website or create a charge. AlphaBlue reviews sustained or unusually high usage with the customer before changing the service.

The monthly visit email

Each published customer will receive a monthly summary showing:

  • counted visits for the previous month;
  • change from the month before;
  • the 50,000 visit allowance and usage percentage;
  • whether the site is approaching or above the review level.

Visits are not the same as unique people, Leads, orders, or revenue. The report must never present traffic as a guaranteed business result.

Delivery timing

Production timing starts after the required materials are complete and usable. Missing copy, photos, business facts, approval, or account access can delay the start.

AlphaBlue confirms the delivery window after material readiness is known.

Check your understanding

Choose one answer for each question. You can review and try again.

1. What is a domain?
2. Must the customer buy the whole website package again every year?
3. What happens the first time a site exceeds 50,000 counted visits in one month?
